Materials handling service provider Briggs Equipment has appointed Chris Meinecke as chief operating officer.
He joins the UK team, based in Cannock, Staffordshire, from the US where he worked for Briggs’ parent company Sammons Enterprises for more than 18 years.
CEO Richard Close said Mr Meinecke had a “wide array of experience” of materials handling from the company’s US partner.
“We are constantly working closely with our US counterpart and parent to create synergies and innovation across both countries. Chris’s appointment is a clear sign of Sammons’ commitment to the UK market,” he said.
