Chantler Timber has bought an oak parcel averaging 150ft³ of timber per tree from the forestry department of the Bedford Estates at Woburn.
Michael Chantler described the parcel as one of the finest he had seen. It will be used for beams for restoration work, plank and furniture veneer.
