Timbmet Door Solutions Ltd (TDSL) has acquired a stake in AccentHansen, one of the UK’s leading steel and glazed door manufacturers.
The “marriage” is being billed as creating one of the UK’s premier providers of timber, steel and glazed doors, as well as fire screens. TDSL is part of the Timbmet Group.
“The acquisition gives AccentHansen access to our wide distribution network and an expanded sales reach, while opening up a whole new range of products to the TDSL Group,” said TDSL chief executive Ash Malhan.
“The part sale of the business to TDSL made perfect sense as although they operate in similar markets they have different customers and different product solutions,” said Hans Kolby Hansen, Hansen Group CEO.
“The cross-selling opportunities open to both companies are immense.”
