Exhibiting in the Timber Works area, with a video showing the performance of its HR-Prof product, Fire Retardant UK managing director Chris Dilks told TTJ that the company was talking to the manufacturer of Accoya about fire-treating the modified wood.
He also said several timber frame manufacturers were interested in using the company’s treatment on OSB sheathing in new build, due to an increasing focus on fire safety.
