Cornwall-based Frame UK provided a taste of academic life with a “before and after” presentation of the student accommodation it’s building for Exeter University.
Frame UK has already completed one seven-storey, 150-bedroom timber frame block and there are eight more to go.
According to Frame UK’s operations director Neil Stevens, environmental performance was key for the client, University Partnerships Programme. “The block achieved a U-value of 0.21 and four air changes per hour.”
