A trade advertising campaign promoting the benefits of wood windows to architectural and construction audiences has been launched.

The Wood Window Alliance’s fresh campaign is being supported by the Swedish Forest Industries Federation (Skogindustrierna) and will run from March to December, targeting architectural, specifier and building magazines, supported by an intensive PR effort.

The “Wood Windows CO2t Less” initiative will communicate CO2 research related to timber windows undertaken by Davis Langdon, plus new service life research conducted by Imperial College, London.

“With support from the Swedish Forest Industries Federation, we have some marketing muscle to drive our messages home to our audiences,” said WWA chairman Sean Parnaby.

Skogindustrierna director Jan Soderlind said the WWA campaign had excellent syenergies with the work of wood for good.
