Arnold Laver Timber World has re-engineered its treatment tanks to accept the new Tanalith E preservative.

Timber World director David Copley said the chrome and arsenic free treatment was introduced to meet ever-increasing consumer interest in timber and the needs of the environmentally conscious specifier.

Products treated with Tanalith E include general construction and fencing timbers, decking and other outdoor wood components. An extra water repellent additive is built into the treatment.

  • A planning meeting at Sheffield City Council on May 15 will discuss Arnold Laver’s £7m plans to transform a 17-acre site into its Timber World headquarters.
