Jeld-Wen UK has unveiled two initiatives which, it maintains, will improve service to merchants.

The first is the creation of a three-strong merchandising team set up to look after displays, signs and point-of-sale material for Jeld-Wen’s John Carr and Boulton & Paul brand products at merchants.

At Jeld-Wen’s customer call centre, dedicated regional desks have also been set up. A new telephone system recognises where calls are from and routes them to the appropriate desk.
