Hoffman has developed a new jointing alignment system for the assembly of hand rails and support struts, work tops, bar tops and reception desks.

The Varidrill self-aligning tool consists of a series of jigs and uses hardened steel drill guides through which holes are drilled once the jigs are in position. It is designed for use at any angle.

The company, which invented the popular dovetail key jointing system, has also developed a self-aligning jointing solution called Clac for “invisible” jointing of wooden components such as plinths, cornices and frames. Clac comprises two metal sections, male and female, which are designed to join securely with each other.
