Dieffenbacher installs record line

Dieffenbacher has installed the single largest particleboard line in the Asia-Pacific region to Malaysian company Mieco Chipboard Berhard.

The 2,000m³ per day capacity line, which started production in February, forms part of a 20ha plant site near Kuala Lipis, Pahang.

Meanwhile, Dieffenbacher has sold an OSB production forming and press line to US company Martco Ltd Partnership.

A 12x26ft multi-opening press will be built near Oakdale, Louisiana, with production due to start in 2006.
