A record 697,805 users visited the Southern Pine Council‘s (SPC) website in 2005 – a 37% increase on 2004.
SPC said the most activity occurred in the third quarter of last year, when more than 193,000 users visited the site.
Design-build professionals, home buyers, consumers and those interested in the latest southern pine information make up the majority of visitors.
Viewers can learn how to reduce floor risk to their homes, build termite resistant homes, clean mould and identify blue stain.
The site also includes a product locator and information, span tables and publications.
PDF downloads of southern pine publications also hit a record in 2005, rising 68% from 2004 to 361,169.
