Fence post protection system Postsaver has introduced a low-cost application method in response to demand from stockists, contractors and farmers.
The new method for applying the Postsaver polyethylene sleeves to timber posts involves use of a hand-held gas blow torch.
Postsaver says the sleeves are heat shrunk on the post in around 40 seconds.
The system, which is coated internally with a bituminous sealant, is used by sawmills and fencing manufacturers, as well as being stocked by builders merchant chains.
