The duty-free plywood quota is being used up faster this year, according to The Timber Trade Federation (TTF), apparently reflecting market recovery.

The latest TTF report shows just 315,114m³ of the 650,000m³ annual quota left. This time last year the balance was 348,554m³.

At the same time in 2009, the quota remaining was 266,888m³ and in 2008 204,036m³.
