Truss system specialist Alpine Automation won £1m worth of orders for truss production machinery in the last financial year.
The figure reflects growth within the trussed rafter industry – Alpine supplied machinery to 12 fabricators which had either expanded or acquired new premises.
Orders have come in for a variety of equipment including Randek saws and Birch presses.
Customers Shannonside and CB North added Alpine’s exclusive pneumatic truss lifting gear to their new Birch presses, while Manderwood and DJR installed fully automated truss stackers.
