Severn Timber Products Ltd, SCA Timber Supply’s Welshpool operation, has been crowned Timber-based Products Supplier of the Year by the National Buying Group (NBG) for the second year running.
The award was presented at the NBG national conference, with NBG executive chairman Allan Durning saying “Severn Timber has again shown they’re getting it right against stiff competition”.
SCA Timber Supply managing director Rob Simpson added working with the NBG has many benefits, and that Severn Timber is already thinking about making it “a hat trick of three awards in a row”.
“In challenging times, it makes sense for big businesses like SCA and NBG to work together across a range of shared values and potential synergies,” said Mr Simpson.
