Door manufacturer Longden has diversified into timber window production.
The company says it is aiming the products at the same market as its door and doorset ranges; bespoke projects such as exclusive home developments, luxury hotel and prestige office new builds and refurbishment and the heritage and listed building sector.
The windows will also be made in a similar FSC-certified timber palette, including sapele, sipo, meranti and oak.
They will be produced single, double or triple glazed, with U-values as low as 0.8Wm²K and can be certified on energy performance by the German Passive House Institute.
