TRADA has launched a new series of its popular ‘In the regions’ workshops to help members come to grips with European developments in building with timber.
Timber suppliers will gain an understanding of how the impending Construction Products Regulation and soon to be compulsory CE marking will impact on their market and how to meet the challenge.
Sessions for architects and engineers will also be held, including an inspirational case study featuring timber, with insight into wood as a material and the scope it offers for innovation.
Events will be held on June 15 & 16, July 1 2& 13, October 11 & 12 and October 18 & 19, in London, Bristol, Leeds and Grangemouth respectively.
The Timber Industry session will be held on the morning of the second day in each city, starting at 9.30am, and will focus on CE marking & CPD update and an innovations round up including modified woods, waste & energy/ carbon measurement
TRADA members are offered a maximum of three free places, with additional places at £50 + VAT. Non-members are welcome, also at £50 + VAT.
