Farmers are suspected to have started bush fires which have destroyed trees in several Kenyan districts.
Forests in Laikipia, Ariak, Shamanek and South Marmanet have been partially consumed by the flames.
Forest authorities say farmers are believed to be clearing land before the planting season and to scare away elephants.
