The Kährs wood flooring range has won the hardwood flooring category for the 10th time at the 2011 Contract Flooring Journal (CFJ)/Contract Flooring Association (CFA) Flooring Industry Awards.

Kährs engineered timber floors, which use a hardwood wear layer and fast-growing spruce and pine underneath, were voted the winner in a ballot by CFJ’s flooring contractor and specifier readers.

Kährs’ UK sales manager Harvey Booth received the award at an event at the Heritage Motor Centre in Warwickshire.

The flooring manufacturer is launching a series of new products in 2011, including a retro-style Linnea Dwell range, FSC-certified Original, Linnea and Activity products, plus the “world’s first” dual labelled FSC/Fairtrade wood floors.
