LunaComp wood-plastic composite decking has had its first UK installation.
The Finnish manufactured product, imported by MBM Speciality Forest Products, was used in a domestic decking project.
The PEFC-certified product was highlighted recently by MBM at Timber Expo, alongside the Lunawood heat-treated wood brand. It is made from Lunawood fibres (65% of content) and recycled polypropelyne.
“The decking market in the UK is evolving and a proportion of end users are aspiring to upgrade their decks to a more contemporary design and value the low maintenance characteristics of LunaComp,” said David Whitehill, of MBM Speciality Forest Products.
