Timber connector specialist Simpson Strong Tie has launched a special support service for the engineered timber sector.
The company has set up a team of 10 engineered timber specialists, including two new recruits, to provide technical and product back up and improve product delivery.
It is also expanding its made-to-order service for products used in conjunction with engineered wood and introducing new items for structural insulated panels (SIPs) and glulam.
“The demands from the engineered timber sector for a flexible and reliable service have increased in the current climate,” said Jon Head, who is leading the Engineered Timber Division. “Our response has been to up our game – to ensure we have the products, people and support to ensure we don’t let anyone down.”
