James Jones & Sons Ltd has commissioned a low-pressure treatment tank at its Aboyne sawmill in Aberdeenshire.
Using Osmose Protim, the facility is a response to a continued improvement in demand for domestic carcassing.
James Jones said the treatment, for internal applications, improves the company’s capability to service a broader range of carcassing requirements.
“Our merchant customers, their customers and the wider construction sector, continue to use a higher proportion of domestically sourced and produced materials,” said Graham Blyth, James Jones senior sales manager.
“The addition of Protim clear treatment complements the existing product range and is another significant development in improving our overall product offering and service package to our customers.”
