Scottish luxury timber frame housebuilder Manor Kingdom has won a Gazelle award for the fastest growing company in the Tayside, Fife and Perthshire region.

The company won the top regional award at a ceremony in Dundee celebrating achievements of Business a.m. Gazelle companies. It now goes forward to the Gazelle Grand Final on April 25.

Manor Kingdom increased its turnover by 430% to more than £11m in the four years to the end of 2000, with preliminary figures for 2001 showing turnover at almost £20m.

To be a Gazelle, a company must have increased its turnover by 100% over a four-year period from a base of more than £100,000, as well as showing positive operating profits.
