Scottish housebuilder and developer Springfield Properties has chosen to use Norbord’s Caberdek chipboard flooring across its entire range of both private and affordable new build projects.
Last year the company bought Redrow Group’s Scottish division for £49m, making it one of Scotland’s largest independent housebuilders.
Springfield has become a major customer for Norbord over the last decade and, recently, has “taken to Caberdek in a big way,” said Caledonian sales manager Paul Forrest.
“And, as well as the boards themselves, we also supply the special adhesives and tapes to go with them,” he added.
“We guarantee a good value, high quality build and all our materials need to contribute to that,” said Springfield’s partnership director, Tom Leggeat.
“The ‘peel clean’ coating saves time and money at the cleaning stage and contributes to our handing over new homes in the best possible condition. This is important to all our clients.”
