SCA’s forest products division saw an 18% reverse in operating profits last year.
The division’s newly posted results show a SKr2bn operating profit (2010: SKr2.4bn) for all operations, including solid wood products, publication papers and pulp. Fourth quarter operating profits reduced 26% from a year ago to SKr440m.
Annual net sales were similar to 2010 at SKr17bn.
Solid wood product deliveries totalled 1.91 million m3.
SCA said operating profits in the solid wood business were lower due to higher raw material costs and negative exchange rate effects.
Group pre-tax profits were SKr7.9bn (2010: SKr8.4bn).
