A Walter Woodtronic CNC circular saw blade grinder is being installed at south coast saw doctor SR Tools of Hailsham.
The machine – designed for the single-setting grinding of carbide blade teeth faces and tops – can handle blades from 80mm to 1m in diameter, up to 8mm thick and with tooth pitches of 6-125mm.
Woodtronics are supplied as standard by Walter GB of Redditch, with a series of software programs covering all tooth blade geometries – including the Brunswick geo-metry, where all types of deflection shoulders and chip grooves can be ground.
