Hull-based MKM, which bills itself as the UK’s largest independent builders’ merchant, officially opened the Deal outlet at Deal Business Park on June 25.
MKM’s timber product supply base includes Anglo-Norden, arborforest, Donaldson Timber Engineering, James Jones, International Timber and Rowlinson Timber.
Joint branch director Tom Rose is a timber specialist and previously worked at a national builders’ merchant chain.
"MKM Deal is the latest branch to open as part of our national expansion strategy and we are delighted to be helping create more jobs for local people," said MKM chief executive David Kilburn.
