Nelton Exhibitions, the organisers of the Woodworking Ireland exhibitions, is putting on the show in response to customer demand.
“Initially we were asked by a number of UK machinery companies that exhibit at our Irish show to consider running a trade event in Scotland,” said Nelton director Tony Cox. “The more we researched the Scottish market, the more we could see the parallels between the two industries.
“As with Ireland, if you take the initiative to go to the market place, your sales message is perceived differently. It is almost as if the thinking is, if they have made the effort to come up here, then it is worth listening to them.”
Woodworking Scotland 2007 will take place on March 22-24 at the Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh
