The International Forest Products Transport Association (IFPTA) has announced details of its second Asian regional seminar in China.

The seminar will be held from June 4-6 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Shanghai, and will include speakers from across the industry addressing forest logistics issues in the Asian market, such as China’s transport infrastructure, port capacities and a two-year economic outlook.

It will also include a tour and presentation at the Westerlund Terminal and Warehouse, an international Class 1 port handling more than 1.6 million tonnes of forest products a year.

“As we continue to follow the growing demands and opportunities throughout Asia, we felt it was the perfect time to develop a second Asian regional seminar,” said IFPTA president Paul Doiron.
