The company, run by Dave Williams, bought the T-12 spindle moulder machine from supplier Scott & Sargeant.

The machine, purchased to replace its Wadkin spindle moulder, has joined an existing Martin T45 thicknesser planer and a Martin T54 surface planer.

The process of machine demonstration, order and delivery took just four days.

"What made this such a great transaction is that I ran the last piece of wood at 4pm on a Tuesday and the lorry was here at 4.05pm dismantling and removing my part exchange spindle without any downtime in production," said Mr Williams.

FJ Joinery, established more than 30 years ago, makes doors, windows, shop fronts, staircases, conservatories and bespoke joinery items.
