ISG has won the £61m contract to build the lodges at Center Parcs Woburn Forest – Center Parc’s fifth UK site which is to be spread over 365 acres and will open in spring 2014.
The contract starts in November and involves the construction of two, three and four-bed lodges. Construction is scheduled to take 59 weeks.
The lodges will use sustainably-sourced timber and the latest insulation materials.
ISG said building 625 lodges across a large in a short space of time within a restricted woodland setting would be logistically challenging.
