The new eTendering and planning service allows businesses to tender for contracts via the website – the first time large scale procurement has been done in this way.
Companies will be able to look ahead at large-scale and direct contracts the ODA intends to sign at the new ‘Future Opportunities’ section of the London 2012 website.
Main contractors will also be listed on the site, helping small and medium-sized businesses to tender for sub-contracts.
Opportunities unveiled this week include the construction of the Aquatics Centre, the design of the Velopark and construction work on the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy.
ODA chief executive David Higgins said: “We want to ensure businesses can see the opportunities in advance so they can prepare to bid.
“We also want to make the contracting process straightforward, consistent and simple.”
Welcoming the services launched, Margaret Hodge, industry minister, said: “The Games offers UK business a golden opportunity to showcase their world class goods and services.”
